Notes for Beulah H. COTIE
FREDERICA -- Beulah "Mom" Forwood of Frederica died Thursday, May 28, 1997, in Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 65.
Mrs. Forwood was born in Chester, Pa., daughter of the late Herman Leslie Cotie and Kathleen Melissa Bowers.
She was a dedicated mother and housewife.
She attended the Milford Church of the Nazarene. Her favorite pastimes were sewing, cooking, growing flowers and fishing. She was especially good at growing African violets.
She is preceded in death by a son, Russell Forwood.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis O. Forwood Sr.; three sons, Lewis O. Forwood Jr. of Camden-Wyoming, James H. Forwood of Downingtown, Pa., and Scott A. Forwood of Frederica; one daughter, Gale I. Schlagenhauf of Pottstown, Pa.; three sisters, Catherine Sorensen of Downingtown, Esther Kinnick of Brownsville, Pa., and Arlene Young of Hagerstown, Md.; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Melvin Funeral Home, Harrington, where friends may call one hour before the service. The Rev. Richard Clifford will officiate.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Delaware Veterans Cemetery, Bear.
