Notes for Samuel Stubbs Jr. BROWN
Samuel S. Brown, Jr., age 79, of Landenberg, PA, passed away peacefully at the Heartland Hospice House on Wednesday, October 15, 2014.
Born in Wilmington, DE on October 20, 1934, Samuel was the son of the late Samuel S. Brown and Edith Way Brown. He made his career as a mill worker for the NVF Company in Yorklyn and retired after many years of dedicated service.
In his leisure time, Samuel was an avid antique collector and was especially intrigued by old clocks. He also greatly enjoyed fishing. Samuel was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, K. Janette Brown; children, Russell Brown (Linda) of Colorado Springs, CO, Diana Best (Robert) of Yorklyn, DE, Douglas Brown of Landenberg, PA and Jeffrey Brown (Heather) of Newark, DE; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
