Notes for Allen H. CROSSON

Allen H. Crosson, 83, of North Beach Street, a retired quality control engineer for Gulf Oil in Pittsburgh, died Tuesday at Horizon Specialty Care Center, Daytona Beach.

Mr. Crosson, an Army veteran of World War II who received the Purple Heart, came here in 1977 from his native West Chester, Pa. He was a past commander of the Coatesville, Pa., Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart. He enjoyed woodworking.

Survivors include a son, Richard, Ormond Beach; two daughters, Deborah Cole, Oviedo, and Patricia Cicci, Grand Prairie, Texas; a brother, Charles, Cape Coral; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Woodward, Holly Hill, is in charge.
