Deceased Name: William Robert "Bill" Landefeld Jr.
William Robert "Bill" Landefeld Jr., 84, a longtime resident of Unionville, died on Saturday, July 7, at Pine Run Village in Doylestown.

He was the husband of Isabelle Landefeld and the late Eloner Cloud "Sis" Landefeld.
Born and raised in Lancaster, he was the son of the late William Robert and Margaret Cassidy Bonham Landefeld.
Mr. Landefeld served as a first lieutenant pilot in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
Upon graduation from Pennsylvania State University with a business-commerce degree, he joined the DuPont Co. in sales and marketing. In 1962 he moved to General Electric in Schenectady, N.Y., returning a year later to the Philadelphia area with Atlantic Richfield.
Upon retirement he joined the Hertz Corporations leisure division part-time sales program calling on travel agents which was a natural fit due to his avid love of travel and adventure.
He married Eloner Cloud "Sis" Landefeld in 1943, and they were married 59 years.
He and Sis purchased her family's estate, Oakdale Farm, in 1950.
A member of the Religious Society of Friends in Kennett Square, a 32-degree Mason, member of the Chi Phi fraternity, he had many interests and hobbies, genealogy, antique map and book collecting, reading, farming, boating, poker, playing pool, Skiing, ATV enthusiast and golf to name a few.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Barbara Cleland Einstein Pratt of Kennett Square, Margaret A. Mitchell and her husband, George, of Newtown Square, Dr. Carol A. Landefeld and her husband, Dr. Robert Witt, of Unionville, Debra Cloud Kriebel and her husband, David, of Millersville, Md.; one stepdaughter, Susan Rosica and her husband, Jim, of Doylestown; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren
Service and interment will be private.
