Notes for Warren Bringhurst SCOTT

Warren Bringhurst Scott Scott (79) A lifelong resident of the Main Line and recently of Cape May, N.J. Passed peacefully on June 12, 2013. Born June 12, 1934 in Philadelphia to Raymond P.Scott, sr. Owner of the Scott car dealerships, and Rita C Scott. Husband to Barbara (Manges) Scott, father of Sharon Stewart (Rick), Warren Scott jr. (Gia), and Peter Scott (Kari), and 9 grandchildren. Brother of Raymond P. Scott jr. and Craig C. Scott, half brothers Robert, Phillip and Gary Scott, 5 step daughters and 13 step grandchildren. Warren was a graduate of Lower Merion High School and recently inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame, served in the 101st Airborn division in the U.S. Army from 1955-57. He worked in the family car business in his adult life before retiring to coach Princeton lacrosse. An avid lacrosse enthusiast, Warren followed his children's and grandchildren lacrosse careers. As a passionate sailor and life long yachtsman, Warren pursued his love of sailing throughout his lifetime. All who knew him will recall fondly his sense of humor and sharp wit.
