Notes for Priscilla Beebe HOOPES

Priscilla Hoopes Haddock, 75, of Ocala, FL passed away peacefully on May 1, 2013 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center, Leesburg, FL. Born and raised in West Chester, PA, she resided for the past 8 years in Ocala, FL. Priscilla also lived in Spring, TX from 1985-2005, and Churchville, PA from 1972-1985 where she raised her family. Priscilla graduated from West Chester Joint High School class of 1955 then attended Goldey Beacom College where she earned an Associate Degree in Business. Throughout her life, she was not only a homemaker, but was employed at Scott Paper Corporation, PNB Bank, Trevose Federal Savings and Loan, and DHL. Priscilla enjoyed crossword puzzles and took great joy in completing them, cats, keeping in touch with high school friends as well as old neighbors from the various places she had lived, cooking and finding new recipes from Bon Appetit and Southern Living magazines, going to the movies, horse farms in Ocala, and was a member of the North Central Florida Mustang Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank B. Hoopes and Virginia MacNamee Hoopes, and is survived by her husband of 50 years, Brinton H. Haddock. They would have celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on May 5th. Two children, Leslie Colyar and her husband Mark of New Hope, PA, and David Haddock and his girlfriend Karen of Newtown, PA; two granddaughters, Shanna and Kaela Colyar; sister, Ginny Sloan of San Diego, CA; half-brother, Frank Hoopes Jr. of Atlantic City, NJ; sister- in- law, Mary Lou Flanagan and her husband Bob of Garnet Valley; nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her family would like to extend their thanks to all of her friends and neighbors in Florida for their support over the last few months. Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service on Saturday, 10:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, Pa. where they may call from 9:00-10:00AM. Interment at Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, Lockbox #1352, P.O. Box 8500, Philadelphia, PA 19178-1352.
