Notes for Dorothy R. GREEN

Dorothy G. Plotts, 91, of Lima, Middletown Township, formerly of Media, died Oct. 12 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center in Middletown.
A 1930 graduate of Media High School, she was a homemaker who also worked as a secretary. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Media, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school and also was involved in the Needlework Guild.
Mrs. Plotts, who was known at Fair Acres for her beautiful window garden, was proud of her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, gardening and jewelry.
Mrs. Plotts was the widow of Charles Raymond Plotts Sr., who died in 1986, and the mother of the late Vivian Marie Pincin, who died in 1987, and Charles Raymond Plotts Jr., who died in 1999. She was the daughter of the late William R. and Lelia C. Green.
Survivors: Daughter, Dorothy L. Miazga of Upland sons, William L. Plotts of Florence, Ore., and Gerald L. Weaver of Mariposa, Calif. sister, Nellie McVaugh of Media 23 grandchildren 40 great grandchildren several great-great-grandchildren.
