Notes for Ruth LITTLE
Ruth L. Woodworth of Oxford Ruth L. Woodworth, 93, passed away peacefully at her home in Oxford, on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 with her beloved husband, Douglas by her side. Born in Rising Sun, Md., she was the daughter of the late James Leonard and Harriet Coale Little. Ruth and Doug worked together both in managing the National 5 & 10 in Oxford and as owners of the Woodworth Funeral Home in Oxford, where Doug was the director. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, as well as her only daughter, Cathy Sylvester and her husband, David of Newark, Del.; granddaughter, Jaclyn Baker and her husband, Shanon of Cleveland, Texas; and three beloved great-grandchildren, Jett, Aurora and Douglas Hawk. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at the Edward L. Collins Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 86 Pine St. Oxford, where friends and family may call 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be in Oxford Cemetery.
