Notes for Thomas Jefferson ALDRED

Thomas Jefferson Aldred was the youngest of nine children born to William and Catherine (Robinson) Aldred. His parents were English immigrants, departing August 1794 and settling in Brandywine Hundred near New Castle, Delaware. Thomas was named after President Thomas Jefferson, who was serving his third year of office at that time.
Thomas married Hannah Bonsall Fisher of Mortonville, Chester County, PA. They had 10 children, nine of whom attained adulthood.
Thomas Aldred died at the Bonsall Farm near Coatesville, PA. He was surrounded by his family, who were singing his favorite hymns, as he passed away.
