Notes for Emma deNormandie HAMILTON

Mrs. Emma deN. Grubb, 323 West Twenty-third Street, wife of Newton L. Grubb, and a former president of the Rebekah Assembly of Delaware, died yesterday morning in a Wilmington nursing home.

Mrs. Grubb taught in the Alexis I. duPont School several years ago, resigning that position when she married. For many years she lived at Grubb's Corner and was active in the Queen Esther Lodge, Order of Rebekah, and the Pythian Sisters there. She was a member of the Episcopal Cathedral Church of St. John.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Maple Darby, this city.

Funeral services will be at the McCrery Funeral Home, 2700 Washington Street, tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock with the Very Rev. Dr. Hiram R. Bennett officiating. Interment will be in Chester-Bethel Cemetery.
