Notes for Charles WORRALL
Charles Worrall, 80, a retired Springfield Township police officer, died yesterday at Mercy Catholic Medical Center, Fitzgerald Division, in Darby. He lived in Springfield Township, Delaware County.
Mr. Worrall served as a police officer in Springfield from 1955 to 1978. He was also a member of the Springfield Fire Department, Springfield Ambulance Corps, Springfield Fire Police and the Delaware County Firemen's Association. He was a past master of the Artisan's Order of Mutual Protection No. 8 of West Philadelphia.
Survivors: wife, the former Dorothy Evelyn Stephens, and sister, Florence Gregg.
Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Kovacs Funeral Home, 530 W. Woodland Ave., Springfield; burial at Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Memorial Fund of Saint Matthew's Lutheran Church, Lynbrooke Road, Springfield or the Delaware County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
