Mildred Scott Hanby Thompson, 92 of Greenville, Delaware died at Stonegates on Saturday September 8, 2012.
Mrs. Thompson was a graduate of Duke University. She became president of the George D. Hanby Co., which was her family's business for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray A. Thompson and her son, George A. Thompson. She is survived by her daughter, Trudie E. Thompson (David M. Welch) of Falls Church, VA; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
