Harriet Mae Ashbridge, 81 Of Bear, DE Harriet Mae Ashbridge, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 4, 2012. Mrs. Ashbridge was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed attending Southern Gospel Concerts and was an avid reader. Most of all she loved caring for her precious family. Survivors: Her husband of 57 years Edward B. Ashbridge Jr.; son Edward B. Ashbridge III and wife Louise; 3 daughters Linda A. Sebastian and husband Wayne, Susan Lee and Sharon H. Jones and husband Duane; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her best friends, Bev and Bob Farmer. Pre-deceased by her parents Carl Olson and Mable (Anderson) Olson; daughter Nancy Glendinning; and a brother, Philip Olson. Visitation will be held on Thursday August 9, 2012 in the Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702 from 9:30 to 11 AM Service in Celebration of Harriet's Life at 11 AM. Burial will be private.
