Notes for Rebecca V. SHEEN
Rebecca V. Elliott, age 83, of New Castle, DE, died on Friday, March 4, 2005, at Christiana Hospital.
Mrs. Elliott, a homemaker, was born in Wilmington on December 9, 1921, daughter of the late John R. Sheen and Laura B. Pennock Sheen. She had been active as a Cedarette with the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Brandywine Forest #20 since 1982 and had served as president in 1994 and 1995.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Vincent T. Elliott; their 3 daughters, Deborah D. Elliott of Newark, Cheryl E. DiJosie and husband, Jack, of New Castle, and Vicki L. Hildebrand and husband, Bryan, of Newport; sister, Joanne R. Davis of New Castle; granddaughter, Michele R. Lilly of Wilmington; and nieces and nephew, Pam, Ken and Laura.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, March 9, 2005, in the chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, where friends may call after 10 am. Interment will follow in the adjoining memorial park.
