Notes for Edward Harding Jr. COMLY
Edward Harding Comly, Jr., of Bensalem, passed away peacefully Friday, May 20, 2016 in Holy Redeemer Hospital with family by his side. He was 68.
Born in Philadelphia, Ed was the son of the late Edward H. Comly, Sr. and Anne (nee Curry) Comly. He served our country in the US Army Reserves. He was a member of the American Legion Bustleton Post 810. For more than 40 years he devoted his time and energy to the Hilltop A.A. where he was a lifetime member. Ed was a man who would do anything for anyone- even if it meant him losing out.
Ed was the loving father of Genna Kaiser (David) of Sartell, MN and Jay Comly (Tania) of Swansboro, NC, the most tender-hearted grandfather to Elysia, Lauren, Sarah, Nathan, Clayton, Hudson, Madison, and Liam, great grandfather of Alivia, loving brother to Ronald Comly (Jacie) of Phila. and Jay Comly (Karen) of Rockledge, and proud uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service Thursday, May 26, 2016, 11:00 AM at the Fletcher-Nasevich Funeral Home, 9529 Bustleton Ave., Phila., PA 19115. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM. Interment Service and Military Honors will follow at St. Luke's Episcopal Churchyard, 1946 Welsh Rd., Phila.
