Notes for Edward J. WORRILOW

Edward J. Worrilow, 76, of Drexel Hill and formerly of Linwood, a retired electrician and decorated World War II veteran, died Feb. 28 at home.
Born in Chester, Mr. Worrilow was the son of the late Lawrence L. and Gertrude Weir Worrilow. A World War II veteran and Purple Heart recipient, he served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1945. Mr. Worrilow received the Overseas Service Bar; American Theatre Ribbon; and the European African Middle East Theatre Ribbon with one bronze star.
Mr. Worrilow worked as an electrician at Riddle Memorial Hospital for 10 years, retiring in 1988. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing and attending veteran affairs.
Survivors: Wife of 10 years, Patricia Laura Buchanan Worrilow; daughters, Barbara Harris of Turnersville, N.J., Joanne McCullough of Havertown, Donna Viglianti of Easton, Carol McKinney of Drexel Hill, Doris Swartz of Havertown; brothers, Robert Worrilow of Upper Chichester, William Worrilow of Middletown, Raymond Worrilow of North East, Md.; 11 grandchildren.
Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood.
