Notes for Michael SHARPLESS
Michael Sharpless of Downingtown Michael Sharpless, 53, died at his home on Friday, March 4, 2016, as a result of injuries sustained from an accidental fall. Mike was born in Bryn Mawr, Pa. to the late Raymond and Catherine (Williamson) Sharpless. He was the beloved husband of Tammy, with whom he shared 24 years of marriage, and loving father to Andrew and Daniel. Mike was an IT professional for 20 years and the guitar player and lead singer for Bad Habit Band for over 30 years. He greatly enjoyed teaching guitar, listening to music, and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his wife and children, Mike is also survived by his sister, Elaine (Thomas) Robinson; brothers, Raymond, George (Linda), Vicki (widow of John), Edward (Virginia); in-laws, Sharon and Roger Bales, Eileen (Dominic) Pascucci, Sara (Steve) Hollinger, Lindsey (Travis) Hartley; and 24 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Robert, Ronald, and John. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 East Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, where family and friends may call from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. A visitation will also be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be private.
