Notes for Gladys Clara EASTBURN
Newark resident, Gladys Hollingsworth, 82, died on Feb. 13, 2006.
Mrs. Hollingsworth was born March 8, 1923, in New Garden Township, Pa., daughter of the late Ferris and Clara Eastburn.
She was a graduate of Conrad High School and retired from the DuPont Polymer Products Department on April 30, 1985 after 24 years of service.
She is survived by her sister, Dorothy E. Dempsey, of Corner Ketch, Newark; and seven nieces and nephews, Thomas and Rodney Dempsey, Donald B. Eastburn, Aprile E. Rolfe, Joan Cannon, Janet Quinn and Nancy Sumner. Survivors also include cousins, Arlene Roberts, Elwood Wollaston and Wayne and Lavern Eastburn. She was preceded in death by her brothers Ferris, Joseph, Theodore and Donald W. Eastburn.
A funeral service was to be held at the R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 West Main St., Newark, Del. 19711, on Feb. 17. Burial was to be in Millcreek Friends Cemetery in Corner Ketch.
