Notes for Helen Marie TALLEY

Helen M. Talley Breeding
of Brandywine Hundred passed away peacefully at the age of 93 with family at her side.
Born to Emma Trump Talley and J.Earl Talley at the family home behind the “Naamans Tea House” located on Philadelphia Pike.
Helen attended grade school in Arden and graduated from Wilmington High School in 1934. She was employed by the Brandywine School District in the cafeteria from 1952-1983. She was a member for 64 years and past Nobel Grand of the Queen Ester Rebekah Lodge No. 5 - Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
Helen enjoyed bowling on the same league for nearly 40 years starting in 1967 until 85 years of age. She also enjoyed traveling throughout all 50 states, Germany, London, Mexico and Canada with her husband of 70 years, Clifford Breeding Sr., who predeceased her in 2007. She was also preceded in death by her sister Jane Cullen and an infant brother John Earl Talley.
She is survived by her son Cliff (Beverly) of Chadds Ford, 2 daughters Nancy Cloud of Wilmington and Bonnie Winward Harvey (Ed) of Chadds Ford, 9 Grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren, brother Donald Talley (Hilda) and sister Peggy Crozier (Ralph) all of Wilmington.
Mother (Mom Mom) will be dearly missed by all. Her distinctive laugh, reverent optimism and eternal happiness will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved her.
Friends and family are invited to visit from 9 am to11am on Saturday, November 27, at the MCCRERY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 3924 Concord Pike, Talleyville, where the Funeral Service will follow. Burial will be in Chester Bethel Church Cemetery.
