Deceased Name: EVANS, III, HARRY H.
EVANS, III, HARRY H., 77 - of Seaville, died Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at Shore Memorial Hospital, Somers Point. Born in Upland, PA, he was the son of the late Harry H., Jr. and Anna (Flack) Evans.
A resident of Delaware County for most of his life, Harry was employed by the Boeing Helicopter Company of Ridley Township, PA for several years, where he worked as a machinist. He later moved to Seaville where he has lived for the past 16 years.
An active and devoted member of Seaville United Methodist Church, he presently served on the Board of Trustees. Harry was also an avid train collector and spent hours creating displays that he would happily share with everyone. He was also well known for his high energy and sense of humor.
Harry will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends, especially his beloved wife, Sarah (nee: Kelsall), his loving children, Donald G. Evans and his wife Priscilla of Las Flores, CA, Beverly Tillman and her husband Lawrence of Swarthmore, PA, his three grandchildren: Andrea Tillman, Brian Evans and Megan Tillman. He is also survived by his two brothers: William of Aston, PA and Frederick of Tampa, FL and his sister, Alice Cummings of Newark, DE.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Service on Saturday, April 10, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Seaville United Methodist Church, 3100 Shore Road, Seaville, where friends may call from 9:00 a.m. The Interment will be made in the Seaville Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts to the Seaville United Methodist Church.
