Notes for Clarence Sewall CLARK

He was the son of Clarence Munroe Clark and Mary Newbold Clark. He prepped at Milton Academy before attending Harvard, class of 1916. He enlisted in the United States Naval Reserve Force just after America entered World War I in April 1917. He served four months on a battleship and the rest of the war on submarine chasers. He had a year's service in waters around England and Ireland and the rest around the United States. He married Marguerite Anzias de Turenne at Seattle, Washington on July 2, 1919 and worked in the statistical department of E. W. Clark & Company.
