Notes for Passmore HEALD

Accident and Death-A Young Man about 28 Years of age (should read 38) named Passmore Heald, while carrying water across the Reading Railroad, upon which he was employed, was knocked down by the locomotive, and had his head and one arm entirely severed from his body. The coroner was immediately summoned, and a Jury empanelled, who returned a verdict in accordance with the facts. The accident occured early yesterday afternoon, at a short distance from the city (Philadelphia).
