Title: Accident SHOCKING ACCIDENT.

Accident SHOCKING ACCIDENT.- Mrs. Pyle , wife of Wm. Pyle , West Marlborough. was shockingly, and it is feared, fatally burned one day last week. She was in the kitchen washing, and while standing near the stove, her dress caught fire behind, and before she observed it, it had begun to blaze nearly as high as her head. She ran to a tub of water, near at hand, but the flames had progressed so far, that she was unable to extinguish them, and then ran out and by her screams alarmed the neighbors near at hand, who came to her assistance. Her clothes were nearly all burned off, and her hands, body and head were terribly injured. There was nobody at the house at the time, but a child. She lies in a very critical condition under the charge of Dr. Stubbs.
