Notes for Jeanette Claire BAKER

Jeanette Claire Baker Wickersham, 84, of Kennett Square, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2009, in the Jennersville Regional Hospital, West Grove.
She was the wife of the late Nathan Hayes Wickersham, who passed away in 1971.
Born in Ambler, she was the daughter of the late Charles Pennington Baker Sr., and the late Clara Mable (Blessing) Baker.
Jeanette was a registered nurse, employed by Unionville-Chadds Ford School District, until her retirement.
A veteran, she served our country during the Korean War as a nurse in the Navy.
She was a graduate of the University of Michigan and an alumnus of the Chester County School of Nursing, class of 1949.
She was a member of Chester County Hospital Auxiliary and American Legion Post 491, Kennett Square, and served as past matron of Cochranville Chapter 347 Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her brother, Robert F. Baker Sr., and his wife, Patricia, of Roaring Branch; sister-in-law Ann Baker of St. Charles, Ill.; and eight nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Charles Pennington Baker Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 109 Doe Run Road, Unionville, PA 19375.
Friends may greet the family following the service, in the church's Fellowship Hall.
Inturnment will follow in Unionville Cemetery.
