Notes for June Rose EAVIS

June Rose (Eavis) Comly, 92, of East Greenville, and formerly of Bustleton, died November 29, 2010. She was the loving wife of J. Byron “Doc” Comly. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late William and Anna (Alex) Eavis. She and her husband owned the former Comly Flower Shop in Bustleton for 36 years, before retiring in 1981. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg.
Surviving: is a daughter, Patricia Ann, wife of Douglas Hunter, of Drexel Hill; a son, Craig, and his wife, Christine, of East Greenville; siblings: Marian Killion, of Philadelphia; Jack Eavis, of Bensalem; and Rita Plunkett, of St. Pete Beach, FL; 10 grandchildren: CarolAnne, Joseph, Melissa, Ginger, Amy, Ric, Robert, Madison, Todd, and Chad; and 9 great-grandchildren: Molly, Sammy, Hunter, Dylan, Tyler, A.J., Jaron, Benjamin, and Audrey. She was pre-deceased by siblings: Bill, Anna, Mildred, Ruth, Dolores, Lois, and Ernest.
Services will be on Friday at 11 AM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg. Friends may call from 10-11 AM. Interment will be at New Goshenhoppen Cemetery, East Greenville.
