Notes for Eli MENDENHALL

Eli was a merchant and bank director in Wilmington, Delaware and was Assistant Burgess of Wilmington in 1810. He was the organizer and director of the First Spring Water System. Eli changed the spelling of his last name to Mendinhall to distinguish
his line. He owned a carding and spinning factory where he did a large business. At one time he was Assistant Burgess of Wilmington, Delaware
