JOHN M. WEHNER JR., 74, of Villanova, a retired J.B. Lippincott Co. executive, died Wednesday at Lankenau Hospital.
Mr. Wehner retired from J.B. Lippincott, a division of Lippincott-Raven, in 1989. As first vice president, he directed the company's medical journal division and was responsible for more than 100 journals.
A Philadelphia native, Mr. Wehner was a World War II veteran and a 1947 graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He was an active member of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity.
He also was a member of the Philadelphia Curling Club and had served as its treasurer and president. He belonged to St. David's Episcopal Church in Wayne.
Survivors: wife, Margaret; son, Mark; daughter, Meredith Luckewicz; a brother; and five grandchildren.
Services: memorial, 2 p.m. tomorrow, St. David's Episcopal Church, 763 Valley Forge Rd., Wayne; burial, private.
