STAFF REPORTS
Margaret Pritchard Boone, mother of entertainer Pat Boone, died yesterday. She was 90.
Her husband, Archie Boone, died Jan. 27 at age 93. The family operated a contracting business in Nashville for many years.
Mrs. Boone was a registered nurse, receiving her diploma in 1933 from Riverside Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Belmont Church, 68 Music Square East, with the Rev. Don Finto officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow and Thursday in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Madison Children's Home and domestic violence program or the Nashville Union Rescue Mission.
In addition to Pat, Mrs. Boone is survived by another son, Nick, of Franklin two daughters, Margie Corlew of Nashville and Judi Allen of Lewisburg, Tenn. 12 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Age 90. Monday, March 20, 2000. Mrs. Boone was a licensed registered Nurse and received her nursing diploma in 1933 from Riverside Hospital, Jacksonville, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Altman Boone. Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Pat and Shirley Boone, Nick and Trish Boone, daughters and sons-in-law, Margie and Bill Corlew, Judi and Joe Allen 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 3 P.M. Friday, March 24, 2000, Belmont Church, 16th and Music Square East with Rev. Don Finto officiating. Private interment to be held. The family respectfully requests, instead of flowers, memorials be made to the Madison Childrens Home and Domestic Violence Program or The Nashville Rescue Mission. Visitation with the family 6-9 P.M. Wednesday and Thursday at WOODLAWN FUNERAL HOME, 660 Thompson Lane, 615-383-4754.
