I have an original Indenture between Joseph Pennock (I believe he is a Jr., son of Joseph Pennock of Primitive Hall) and his wife, Phebe Pennock dated 6/15/1792, and George and Isaac Pennock, conveying an interest in land "South of High Street and on the West Side of the Twelfth Street from the River Delaware in the City of Pennsylvania". Does the anyone who is a descendant of Joseph Pennock have any interest in having this? It still has the wax seal of Joseph and Phebe.
Lots of work reflected in these pages. I do have one possible correction for Jonathan Coppock and Jane Owen's marriage. Jane and Jonathan actually traveled, each with their parents, to Pennsylvania because they were Quakers. The Quaker Monthly meeting records show that Jane and Jonathan were married in the Philadelphia yearly meeting district, not in Wales. Two dates given in separate Quaker records...one is 1708 and one is 1709.

I see that Helen Ekin Starrett and William Aiken Starrett are included on the list of family-- I'm sure through Helen's mother, Esther Fell Lee Ekin's family. Can you tell me how they are related? I write a family history blog on the family and I'd love to connect the two. Your photographs and history of Primitive Hall are beautiful. I'd love to see it in person some day, especially if my family is connected to the meeting hall. So beautiful! --Julie
